The phrase Multiplicity of self might appear to be a oxymoron until we actually understand what we actually are. It could be applied to clones as in the phrase 'multiplicity of clones'. It can also be applied to to the phrases "multiplicity of cidentireplicas" or "multiplicity of videntireplicas" with out causing to much of a contradiction. The word self is usually considered to be a singular term referring to only one "self". This is one of the reasons that the ideas of awaretheory have not been proposed as fully before this time.

The conscious self is an awaremoment. The self as a life is a sequence of awaremoments over time. The self as ixperiencitness is much more than a singular awaremoment or sequence of awaremoments. It is every conscious moment or awaremoment that has the same ixperiencitness no matter how, where, when, why, or by who or what, it is produced. Or even the specific matter used to produced the body.

You, for others, is your body and its behavior. You for your self is you being conscious and experiencing being conscious. If you are just your body then only your body can produce your consciousness that you can experience. But, if in fact, you are the functioning of the body that produces this consciousness and not the body itself. The structure and functioning of your body is duplicatable in many other different bodies thus you are duplicatable in many different bodies. This is the case, especially since there are many different structures and ways of functioning in your present body that would produce a consciousness that you would experience if they would be produced. Any of these different structures and functioning that would produce consciousness that you would experience in your body would also produce your conscious in some other body as well.

One of the proofs that you are not your body is that your body when it dies does not function in the right ways or have the right structure consequently, is not conscious. Which means that your body is not always you consequently you body alone is not you. This line of thought is usually used to prove that there is a soul like thing that is independent of the body that leaves it upon death or near death. But science has found no real evidence of any soul like thing in existence, But there is overwhelming evidence that the functioning of the brain produces consciousness and consciousness that you experience is the key to your existence.
