One reason that people like religions is that it professes unchanging certainty in the its belief system. Science gives certainty but in a different way. You can always be certain of science until a better improving scientiifc idea comes alone. This means that science can alway improve with better and better scientific ideas. This you can be "certain" of [[Awaretheory]] is one of those better scientific ideas that gives us certainity until better ideas comes along. Most of the scientific ideas proposed by [[awaretheory]] are not likely to change. It like a car over time it keeps improving but it is still a car. [[Awaretheory]] will improve but the basic ideas will still stay the same. Just like the basic scientific ideas like the existence of atoms, energy, and computers, will not go away with new ideas. The understanding of them will surely change as we learn more about reality and our ability to understand its complexity.

Many people want certainty in their lives about important things like [[life after death]] for themselves and their loved ones. Many religions promises this certainty. But not on scientific grounds. Until awaretheory's development certainty of [[life after death]] and [[immortality]] based on science was very uncertain. In fact, there are many people that like the certainty (that they think that science gives) that [[life after death]] and [[immortality]] is not possible. You have to admit that if this life was not that great for you, the thought that you would never have to experience it (with all of its suffering) again can be pleasant to some.

	Where we need certainty in our lives we also need uncertainty as well. [[Awaretheory]] gives certainty and uncertainty. Certainty with [[immortality]] is boring. A boring immortality is what many religions if not all religions lead to. What is the religious statement about ideal hands? That's what there appears to be in heaven and hell people not having any thing to do. [[Awaretheory]] gives us purpose and meaning to our lives (our many lives). You can let the ramdom event of nature produce you (maybe again) or you can actively work toward the creation of [[consciousness]]es (your many different ones included) through the advancement of science and technology. Many are much different than the life that you are living now. Many are much better than your current life. Many not as good as your current life. You can work toward deciding which are better and which are worse live times by understanding what are all of the different [[awarepaths]] that you can experience. This is one of [[awaretheory]]'s goals, that of determining the extent of all [[potential conscious existence]] for both you and all other [[conscious beings]]. Which is a continuing process as is all of scientific development.
