Epistemological existence is the existence of knowledge about something. It can be a physical object like a person or a mental object like a dream or an invented ideas like a person in a novel.

There is potential epistemological existence and actual epistemological existence.

Potential epistemological existence means that knowledge can exist about something.

Actual epistemological existence means that knowledge does exist about something.


Epistemological existence arguments are arguments for a particular type or types of epistemological existence. For instance what is the existence proof of a concept like itofazmoment does it exist as an object or as a concept in some consciousnesses?
