Ch32. Superimmortality gives greater purpose and meaning to life

   1. Don't need a god's good will to consciously exist again.
   2. If others can be conscious versions of you it gives each of us reasons to treat each better.
   3. If our existence depends on this earth and universe then we need to take care of this earth so that people can continue to exist here way into the future.
   4. No matter what has occurred in your life in the past you can always contribute positively now and into the future.

Superimmortality gives greater purpose and meaning to life than what? Than the belief than life is short and final. Or that life is dependent on other conscious beings like angels, devils, or gods that may not care for you at all. A god that creates infinite punishments for finite crimes or not the required behavior like believing in the religion, is not a caring god. Especially when he made you the way you are, and knows exactly what you will do in your life. It is said that god gave mankind free will yet his omniscience allows him to know what that free will, will have you do in your life. Some say that god lives outside of time this means that he is not effected by time and thus exists in all time, so free will or not he knows what he is doing at all time so he does not have the ability to do other wise himself.

The things that give people purpose in this life can also give people purpose for future lives. Many religious people believe that proper behavior in this life will give them infinite rewards in an after life. Proper behavior does not even have to be moral by most peoples ethical standards.

If you as superimmortality predicts can have future lives by producing one of many physapath that will produce your ixperiencitness, this gives your present life meaning and purpose in making sure that these physapaths are produced in the future. Since there are more and less desirable awarepath producing physapaths that you will experience when they become actual, this gives your present life purpose and meaning is making sure that your more desirable awarepaths get produced. Many people also care about others so they likely will also want these loved ones to have future awarepaths that they enjoy also.
