Citoimmortality
A person is a body and consciousness. The concept of immortality is not simple because the matter in the body is changing and being replaced continuously. With out this change there is no consciousness. Materially we are not constant. We do not consider ourselves tied to a particular piece of matter nor are we. What is left is “mentality” consciousness. Consciousness is not constant either. We can not put our finger on what you are at any one particular time because it takes a period of time for matter to produce mentality. What makes immortality even more difficult is that when we determine what you were it no longer matters because having a future is what matters, a future that has not happened yet and different from the past. The concept of a soul is nice because it gives us a singular unique concept tied to each person through out his “immortal” life. The only problem is there is no evidence that there is a soul and the concept is counter productive to what we really are. The concept of the soul does not necessarily tie us to memories or any other mental or physical aspects of a person. Citoimmortality is not immortality of a soul. It is immortality of consciousness. It spells out particular types of immortality and how to achieve it with out the need for supernatural beings.

There will be other types of immortality that we will cover in later chapters.
We can imagine a time machine transporting you back to that date with your present consciousness.

Principle of non temporality in the future. Time sync, non temporally in the past of cidentireplicas.
The next several experiment sets will deal with how time effects cidentireplicas. The cidentireplica that we considered in the first experiment functioned exactly the same as the original and did the functioning at the same speed and simultaneously as the original. In this experiment we have two cidentireplicas. Cidentireplica(s) functions exactly the original. The indicae (s) stands for space. It can define what space the cidentireplica is in relation to the original or another cidentireplica. The second cidentireplica, cidentireplica(t) is functioning exactly like the original but the cidentireplica(t) is a few seconds behind in its functioning. Cidentireplica(t) is a few seconds behind the first cidentireplica(p) in its functioning. It is exactly the same but it is doing everything that the original does a few seconds latter. The consciousness that is produced by the cidentireplica(t) is now different from the original’s at each instant. The way that it is different is that the consciousness that the original is experiencing is happening a few seconds before the cidentireplica(t) is reaching that stage in its consciousness. The cidentireplica(t) is still having the exact same consciousness but it is happening a few seconds later. The internal functioning and behavior of the cidentireplica will be the same as the original but delayed a few seconds. Identical consciousness is projected into the future a few seconds. If we can extend the difference in time a few seconds, why not a few hours? And if that works why not extend it for days, weeks, or years? Or for that matter any finite length of time?

Principle 20 Citoimmortality it is a form of immortality of consciousness based upon cidentireplicas.
The identity theory tells us how to produce immortality scientifically. With our current technological ability, to produce cidentireplical immortality or citoimmortality is equivalent of the ancient egyptians going to the moon by way of building a pyramid to reach it. Theoretically it may be possible. Physically it is not. Like going to the moon we did it a different way.
