An experiment does not limit a theory, it opens up new possibilities. Theories are what limit reality. The reason that theories limit reality is that a good theory is predictive and explanatory in the simplest way. A theory is limited in its construction because people ability to deal with a complex theory is limited because people are limited An experiment can not tell us what is not it can only tell what is like finding something new. If a theory does not predict this new novelty then the theory is enlarged and changed to include this new concept of information. The goal is to have the simplest theory that predicts and explains everything. Experimentation is always expanding what everything is.
Thought chemical theories that have been developed are very good so far an experiment can not tell us that the theories will be valid everywhere. For what ever make matter and energy behave the way it does here may not he the case somewhere else or at a different time.
An experiment can show that a particle exists it can not say that a particle does not exist.
How does experimentation relate to a law of nature. A law of nature is based on a theory that says that a particular is the case. If by experimentation we can show that there is an exception to the law then there has to be a revision to that law or theory. theory limits the world experimentation expands it. But this does not always have to be the case theory can try to complicate the theories rather than simplify them. It can do this to the limit of thought experimentation can then add to the complexity.
We think of a experiment as proving the truth or falsity of a theory. It does not do this it only delimits a theory. This means that there is found to be more in reality that the theory has predicted or explained. If a theory predicts that everything will be one way and an experiment shows an exception to this rule or law of the theory then the theory is not necessary incorrect it is incorrect in one case. The theory can be changed to be thie is the case everywhere except this particular instance. It also has to explain this particular instance. A theory or science about theories has to be made so that complex theories can be created by way of combining parts like chemistry does with elements. Theories may make up a continuum rather be atomic. If this is the case then atomic constructed theories can be considered as the random points within the continuum. What this means is that we can deal with theories in both ways
Theofields are a field of related theories.
We can have atomic theofields and theofields that are continuums. The words for this are atotheofields and contheofields. A theofipoint is a point on a theofield.
Experimentation shows us that the world is more complex than we have previously thought. The theorizing may come up with a simpler theory because of the experiment's result that now need to be explained.
If theories are limited because people have limited abilities to learn and use complex theories, why then should we have mathematical epistemology which makes and studies complex theories? First, complex theories are what are going to solve and explain the problems that we face in life And we can develop ways to deal with complex theories that we have not had in the past. Also in studying complex theories we can develop ways of dealing with them so that are easier to work with. The theory may be more complex but we have a better way to deal with the theory and how to use it to it optimum.
When we deal with theories we have to have ways of manipulating a complete theory by yet deal with in simple terms simple as a name.
Theospace is an n - dimensional space that represents theories in a continuum. Once a theospace is defined then all sorts of mathematics can be performed on the theospace to determine more information about the theories that the theospace represents. A theospace represents change along a dimension for a certain concept. The concept can be very simple or very complex.
