There appears to be no scientific theory of survival of death and immortality. Either you have religious theories of immortality that run counter to scientific evidence, or you have scientific theories that show that survival of death and immortality are scientifically impossible, illogical, irrational or at the very least undecidable. Life can be very difficult, painful, and scary, to say the least. We can not spite religions and cultures for developing unscientific theories of immortality and survival of death. The problem is that these theories have been used to manipulate people. Sometimes for the good but in many cases much suffering have been cased by these theories. Plus religions have slowed the development o science and technology. Science until now has not given any good alternatives to these religious mystical and cultural theories. Usually, science has been indifferent with the conclusion that with out clear proof it is a matter of accepting that death is final for an individual. This has turned people away from science and humanism and toward religions. One of the problems with religions is that they promise a heaven or hell leaving this world behind.
