Is knowledge a sub set of consciousness? It is if we set knowledge as being true and consciousness includes awareness that is not true. But they are on the same level because we can not know for certain if any knowledge is true or consciousness is connected to reality. Connecting consciousness to reality is just as difficult. For knowledge to be true it has to be connected to reality just like Knowledge is a system of consciousness that connects certain experiences to reality but not others. Knowledge deals with prediction of awareness or consciousness. It says that if this experience happens then these experiences are more likely than others. Knowledge is consciousness of consciousness. Consciousness is awareness of awareness. How many level like this can we have? Then we have knowledge of knowledge? --- epistemology the science that studies knowledge. Consciousness of consciousness is a specific subset of consciousness?

Knowledge has been defined as true justified belief. Do we believe in consciousness. Is consciousness real?

What is untrue knowledge? What is untrue consciousness? Consciousness can be unconnected to reality. But since consciousness never knows what reality is We can not know what is really true also. Previous experience is what knowledge is based on. But bogus is any past information for certain. To have previous experiences to base knowledge on we need consciousness.

Can we have knowledge with out a conscious system? We can have control systems that are not conscious. Systems that control the body are not conscious are they knowledge? Is knowledge something or about something? Is a controlling system about something?
