Introduction: Matter has to be different for science to tell two different pieces of matter apart. Two different pieces of matter can be indistinguishable physically from each other but still have identity by being in different places or times.


The physipath is a combination of the materialpath and the physapath. The materialpath is the specific matter, its placement, and how these properties of matter change over the life time of a body. The physapath is the structure and functioning in a progressional sequence of the matter of a body over the life time of a body.


The purpose of the materialpath concept is for determining if and how the specific matter that a body is made of and its placement effects the behavior, consciousness, and ixperiencitness produced by the body.

Is matter of the same functioning type replaceable in an application or in the functioning of a body?


Materialpath definitions: The exact material make up and placement of material parts at each moment in time of a body over its life time. If any material part of the body, like a single atom or subatomic particle, is different in the designated body, for any period of time, it has a different materialpath.

Materialpoint: The exact matter and its placement that a body is made of at a specific point in time.

Materialmoment: The exact matter and its placement that a body is made of during a moment in time. A moment in this sense being defined as the the minimum amount of time that it takes to produce an physamoment thus also an awaremoment.

Materialsection: A length wise section of a materialpath. In size from a materialmoment to that of a materialpath.

Materialpath: The exact matter and its placement that a body is made of at each successive point in its life time.

Matter can be replaced in a body and if it functions the same way after the replacement as it would have other wise it will produce the same behaviorpath, awarepath, and ixperiencitness.

Identical atoms can be moved and switched to other parts of the body of the same functioning type and energy state. For instance, a hydrogen atom in a blood cell can be switched with a hydrogen atom in a neuron in the brain if both atoms function closely enough alike they can replace each other with out changing the over all structure and functioning of the body.

An enumerable number of materialpaths can be mapped to a singular physapath. What this means is that

Atom Counting proof: There exists an enumerable amount more of each type atoms out side of a body that within it. We do not know for certain how many hydrogen atoms exist in the universe and it is likely changing as stars us up hydrogen.

It is estimated that there are approximately 7*10e27 atoms in a 150 lb body, The body is 87% hydrogen. Thus there are approximately 5*10e27 hydrogen atom in an average human body. There are approximately 10e80 hydrogen atoms in the universe. Each one of these hydrogen atoms could be used in the place of each hydrogen atom in the body. There are at least 10e100 possible different was to replace just one hydrogen atom with one hydrogen from the total number of hydrogen atoms from the rest of the universe. If we now replace two hydrogen atoms from the total number of atoms in the universe we get 10e100 times 10e100 -1 which is approximately10e200. Replacement of three atoms in one body from the atoms in the universe is approximately10e300. If every combination of replaced atoms is calculated for the this body the resulting number is enormous

of course there are other elemental kinds of atoms that can be replaced with atoms from the rest of the universe also increasing this total amount.

This is a possibility for each materialpoint. Depending how long a body lasts for and the time given for one material point the number of possible materialpath there are that will produce one physapath again increases for a large amount When the matter in a body is replaced it produces a different materialpath

The that identical functioning matter produces identical is much simpler than having a theory that identical matter replacement produces majopr differences in behavior

No identical atoms can function identically chemistry is based on atoms of the same elemental type and energy level valence etc will function identically

Unless there are an infinite amount possibilities of a specific chemical experiment there eventual has to be a repeat

Technology is based on matter replacement for production desired behavior, effect on reality, achievement of goals

What you are is the structure and functioning of the brain argument: Your body, your soul, your memories, do not experience existence reality etc. Its how the brain changes over time that produces you Your body, your soul, your memories, do not create or produce you it is the structure and function of the brain that produces you


Personal identity argument: A theory of personnel identity can not be agreed upon by all thinkers, not predictive, explanatory, scientifically useful. etc. If a theory of personal identity does not predict if you will experience a consciousness and what will produce a consciousness that you will experience, how is it useful? What value does it have?


First experiment argument for matter: duplicating structure and functioning

No radical departure argument: Why would there be a radical departure in behavior with the replacement of one atom, then the replacement of another when the physapath stays the same? If the physapath stays the same the behaviorpath stays the same.

We know that matter is being replaced in the human body all of the time and the same ixperiencitness is still maintained for at least long periods of time.

All possible replacements will produce the same behaviorpaths with identical physapaths and near identical physapaths

Is there anything in nature made of matter that can not be replaced with the same identical atoms, molecules, in the same places? Why would human body be the only material body that could not be produced with different matter?


The body is a material thing. Behavior is a product or process of a material thing. Consciousness is know by other conscious being by way of communication through behavior. The existence of consciousness is known by way of personal experience
