To produce something that is not the object itself but some property of the object the same matter does not have to be used. Continuity or continuousness of the same object does not have to be produced either. A TV produces a TV show. The same TV does not have to produce the same TV show. Many different TVs can produce the same TV show. Consciousness, Ixperiencitness, and the structure and functioning of matter are what bodies produce, These are variable aspects of a body not a necessary part of a body. The way a TV functions and the TV show it produces are variable aspects of a TV. They could have been different in numerous different ways with out changing the TV as a unique physical object through space and time.

If you duplicate the same structure and functioning in a TV any number of times you get the same TV show, blank screen, or static. There can be very small change in the structure in the TV and it can still produce the same TV show etc. Since the brain is a physical structure like a TV, it should behave like a TV in the sense that duplicating the structure and functioning should duplicate the consciousness and ixperiencitness. And close enough structure and functioning in the brain should duplicate the same consciousness and ixperiencitness wether in the same body or in another body as is the case with TVs, computers, robots, experiments, manufacturing processes etc.
