Legacy immortality

Legacy immortality is the concept that if there is no real immortality or superimmortality for a person after death then there is at least for a while other people remembering their legacy or interactions with this now dead person. Legacy immortality is not immortality in the sense that you live on after your death. However, memories of you can live on in other people. People, if they do not have direct memories of you, can read about you in books or see you in videos. But eventually these other people die and the books and videos get destroyed.

The concepts that the science of superimmortality propose put an interesting twist to legacy immortality. By replicating these people that have memories of you and what you have accomplished, your legacy immortality can be perpetuated into the future indefinitely. But what is even better is creating cidentireplicas and videntireplicas of the original "you" and they will not only have memories about you they will have your specific memories.
