If the proper structure and functioning of a brain is what produces consciousness and ixperiencitness then life after is scientifically possible with out supernatural concepts like souls or gods
Awaretheory is not a theory of resurrection because it does not require the same body and it allows for the multiplicity of ixperiencitness at the same time
Life after death is not dependent on a specific body or a supernatural concept like a soul. Life after death is dependent on one or more itobodies that produce the structure and functioning that produces the original's ixperiencitness, even if these are different consciousnesses or awarepaths than what was produced before. An identical physapath will produce an identical awarepath with the same ixperiencitness. An approximate physapath usually will produce an approximate awarepath with the same ixpepath. This means that many different itobodies or physipaths can produce the same ixperiencitness of the original or you.
If rebirth produces one of a large group of structures and functioning of a brain or equivalent that produces a person's ixperiencitness then it is a way of producing life after death for that person
You do not need to be religious to understand how life after death works. But you can believe that god or gods made life after death a natural, non supernatural, understandable and consciously controllable process.
There are many types of after life or life after death for each individual person. The necessary ingredient is that you experience being conscious again after death. When we apply the simple basic ideas of awaretheory to the concept of the after life we come up with many different kinds of life after death. The simplest form of an after life and the one that most people think of when talking about an after life is where the same consciousness that exists at death is produced in the same body after death. This is what the concept of resurrection and cryogenics is based on. Returning the same body to the structure and functioning that it had before death is what this ideas is based on. This works for sudden death from injury. But returning it to the state it was at death for an old or ill body just means experiencing death again because your body can not sustain the correct functioning to produce your conscious existence.
Pyramids don't produce or help create an after life. This is an example of people's incorrect beliefs controlling their lives to do acts that do not acomplish what they are supposed to
Fear of death is natural but misdirected.
Any consciousness that you experience is survival for you. Any consciousness that you experience after your body's death is a case of life after death for you. What are all the different consciousness that you can experience after death and how are they produced?
A near death experience is just a type of consciousness produced by the functioning of the brain
It is possible to experience conscious existence after death and understand the process scientifically
There are two ways to life after death. The first way is by random chance again some where or time in the multiverse or through science and technology producing a structure and functioning of matter that has your ixperiencitness
Every child's conscious life can be extended past their death, in many ways by creating the correct structure and functioning in many different itobodies (which includes human bodies)
There have been many wasteful ideas created for the purpose of producing an after life
There are an extremely large amount of different versions of each person that has the same ixperiencitness

Resurrection and reincarnation are supernatural ideas that are not based on science. They we developed by thinkers that did not understand that the brain produced consciousness by way of its complex functioning. Resurrection and reincarnation may seem like nice ideas but they pale in comparison to what reality can produce in terms of conscious diversity and existence through space and time.
