If, like many people believe, we only have one short conscious life in a multiverse that may be infinite in size and exists forever, each of us are very insignificant. The understanding the science of superimmortality makes us much much more significant in many different ways. What each self really has the potential for becomes nearly as endless as our universe. Religions propose the significance of man through the existence of god's desire and ability to extend a man's conscious existence endlessly.
