Why the brain produces the mind but not is the mind

The statements "The brain is the mind." Or "The mind is the brain." tries to tie one specific brain to one specific mind. But there does not exist this identity relationship between the mind and the brain. The mind and the brain are always changing with the passing of time, thus the brain is not a specific unchanging object. The brain can exist without change at the atomic level. But the mind requires physical change in the brain for it to exist. The brain is considered as a physical object. The mind is not a physical object. Two actual physical objects can not be identical to each when identity of space, time, and matter are concerned. Two different materials objects cannot exist in the same place at the same time. A physical object can produce a non physical object like a TV set can produce a TV show that it is not identical to. A brain can produce a mind or consciousness that are not identical. One physical thing can produce another physical thing such as A factory can produce a car. Production can be one way a car factory can produce a car but a car can not produce a car factory. And where a brain can produce a mind a mind can not produce a brain.

The concept of the mind is the brain is a statement biased toward the singularity of self.

To produce means to make, to create, or to cause.

The brain by it changing in structure and functioning can produce any different consciousness or mind. It can be the same object because it can be in the same place and time using the same matter to produce the different minds
