"Within the blink of an eye argument" is based on what is called within the blink of an eye experiments. Superimmortality predicts that if there is a close enough to identical structure and functioning replica of you created from this point in your life, but created any amount of time in the future, and your current body died at this moment, this videntireplica of you in the future, if the local environmental conditions were the same such that there was no awareness of a difference in the environment you would experience again being conscious with no awareness of the passing of time or the changes that have occurred in the rest of the world or universe. From this point on any number of different sensepaths can be applied to this videntireplica of your original body.

The original does no have to die for this event to occur. The original could have had a long and rewarding life or nearly any imaginable variation and the videntireplica will still not be aware of time passing from that previous conscious moment. There are numerous environmental scenarios that the videntireplica can be created in. And numerous different processes that can produce this videntireplica.

The body theory predicts that only the original's body did, can, or will produce the original's ixperiencitness. As a result any videntireplica or cidentireplica of the original will never produce the ixperiencitness of the original even though the cidentireplica and a close enough identical videntireplica will produce the same behavior and consciousness as did the original.
