Atheists have although they are usually not aware of it the science of superimmortality to help them through the loss of loved ones and their death. Superimmortality is better than religious theories of immortality, or the usual atheist position that death it is the permeant extinction of a person and their consciousness.

Cidentireplicas and videntireplicas of an original can at least create the illusion of replacing a loved one because they will believe they are the original. They will have the same identical personality, memories, feelings, emotions, looks, loves, self identity, etc., that the original has. See: List of identical characteristics between an original and its cidentireplicas, List of identical characteristics between an original and its videntireplicas.

For someone that really misses the original what is the cidentireplica missing that the original has? A friend or loved one might point out that he really was not there with all the great and life creating experiences they had together. However, the cidentireplica thinks he was there with you and can supply ample evidence when he can remember all of these experiences as well or better than you do. The cidentireplica can carry on all of the good things that the original was going to do in their life before they died with his friends and loved ones.

How would a cidentireplica of an original know he was not the original? Any evidence that is presented to him could be faked. If the cidentireplica believed that he was not the original, the original would not believe that he was the original either. If this was not the case then the original and cidentireplica no longer have identical structure and functioning and then the cidentireplica is not a cidentireplica of the original any longer. What would convince you that you are not the original, but just a cidentireplica of the original you? If you were told that you were just a cidentireplica of the original and that you had to give up everything that you had worked so hard for in your life like a job, house, cars, money, wife, kids, friends, place and importance in the community etc., What can or would you do to prove that you are the original and not a cidentireplica? What if at this very moment in your life as you are reading this sentence friends and loved one came into the room and told you that the original you was dead, cremated, and thrown into to the ocean. And they wanted you to leave now because you are just a cidentireplica of the original. From your point of view there is no evidence that there was ever any one but you. But from the atheist and others perspective you are just a replica. The replica has no rights over the stuff of the original. He is not married to his wife. These are not his children, even though they have his genes just like a father would have given them. He never accomplished all of the things that the original did like writing books plays and songs, acting inventing etc,. even though he has all of the the memories of the experiences of doing this things.

What has actually been lost for a person when their loved one is replaced by a cidentireplica of the original loved one. Nothing if neither one knew about it. A videntireplica could even be an ungraded better version of the original without loosing any of the desired qualities.

What a superatheist can honestly tell a person that has lost a loved one. What a superatheist can honestly tell a person that is about to die.
